Gwenyth Love spent her early years in the libraries of Hamilton, Ontario. She currently lives in Toronto with her son, boyfriend, too many animals and enough books to start a library of her own.

Low Red Moon - Ivy Devlin The book started out very well. The writing was beautiful and flowing...unfortunately that was soon lost in a rush to create something that never really was fully realized. The main characters fell flat. I felt more more the grandmother and the uncle than the two characters that were supposed to be the main focus. It was pretty predictable and almost seemed like the author was trying to follow along Shiver and Linger's success by Maggie Stiefvater...even following a similar colour scheme. It was pretty disappointing. There are strong hints that there will be a second book, and I sure hope the author puts more effort into her characters and story if she plans to do that.
